You're reading: Economic Ministry fires Ukrkhimtransammiak CEO Bondyk

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade on June 15 dismissed director of Ukraine's state-owned enterprise Ukrkhimtransammiak Viktor Bondyk in connection with the violation of the law and obligations under the contract, as well as a failure to fulfill the requirements of the State Financial Inspectorate.

“Prior to the announcement of an open tender his deputy will temporarily perform the duties of director of Ukrkhimtransammiak. The ministry has set up a commission and began the procedure of preparation for the competition for the appointment of a new head of the company,” reads the report.

According to information in the state register, Viktor Polozov has been acting director of Ukrkhimtransammiak since June 16.

Ukrkhimtransammiak is one of the largest transporters of ammonia in the CIS. The company was created in 2001 by merging three ammonia transit companies: Prydniprovsky and Mykolaiv departments and Ukrzovnishkhimprom.
