You're reading: European Commission plans to issue Ukraine extra 250 million euro

In April the European Commission plans to issue an extra 250 million euro of micro-financial aid to Ukraine, according to the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) report on the country.

“The country [Ukraine] received 1.36 billion euros in macro-financial assistance loans in 2014, and should receive an additional 250 million euros in Apr. 2015, should the IMF program remain on track and policy conditions be met,” reads the report.

The “Implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy in 2014” report assess the implementation of the ENP in the EU’s partner countries and provides a set of country specific and regional reports. The report on Ukraine underlines the key developments and reforms made in 2014 and makes recommendations for 2015.
