You're reading: European Commission to study Naftogaz’s complaint as for Nord Stream 2 project

BRUSSELS - The European Commission confirmed it has received a complaint from Naftogaz Ukrainy regarding the Nord Stream 2 project, addressed to the community, which was transferred to it from the European Energy Community, a source in the European Commission has told Interfax.

“The commission will analyze it and then respond to the Secretariat of the Energy Community,” the source said.

As reported, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk on Feb. 1 stated that Ukraine has sent a complaint to the European Commission in connection with the plan to build Nord Stream 2.
