An unknown object exploded in front of the entrance to the three-storey building of the regional prosecutor's office in Rivne, damaging its doors and windows as a result, said a spokesperson for the Rivne regional police.
A team of investigators, who travelled to the scene, found that the explosion damaged four windows on the first floor and two on the second.
Pieces of the explosive device were recovered from the scene and sent to forensic experts for examination.
