You're reading: Female bicyclists will ride in favor of more bike stands in Kyiv

Women dressed in skirts and high heels will bike Kyiv’s central streets to protest the lack of parking bike stands at the city’s cafes and restaurants, the Kyiv Association of Bicyclists announced.

They’ll start from St. Michael’s Square, travel from Desyatyna Street to Artema via the Peizazhna Aleya, then to Lvivska Ploshcha and finally towards Kyiv’s Podil neighborhood taking Verkhniy Val and Kostyantynivska until they reach Kontraktova Ploshcha.

The female cyclists will disembark near Saihadachniy’s statue where they plan to visit a random cafeand demand bike stand parking from management.

Time: noon, St. Michael’s Square (near Princess Olha’s statue)
