FEMEN group has been officially registered in France, FEMEN said in a press release issued on Friday.
At the same time, according to FEMEN, “the Ukrainian justice bodies have again denied FEMEN registration on the territory of Ukraine, essentially accusing the organization of extremism.”
“The Ukrainian agency’s report says that the purpose of the movement’s activities, specifically, the purpose of uniting women to defend their rights and fight discrimination against women in society, may be perceived as calling for violations of public order or the rights and freedoms of other people,” FEMEN said.
