Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Hennadiy Zubko believes it's worth expecting the conclusions of the international criminal investigation into the Malaysian airliner MH17 tragedy in 2017.

“We may expect the maximum data collection and the completion of the investigation during this year, but the final conclusions, I think, will be next year,” he said.

He added the criminal investigation should disclose the names of those responsible for the tragedy, which on the one hand could lead to extended sanctions, while on the other hand it will be another proof of the fact that there is no internal conflict in Ukraine but direct Russian aggression.

According to the official, two working groups have been established by the presidential decree (one of which works jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), working to find and bring to justice those responsible for the tragedy, in particular, the groups are working on developing the mechanism to set up international tribunal on the issue.
