You're reading: Foreign Ministry, Dnipropetrovsk region sign memo on support of exports

Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Kostiantyn Gryshchenko and Chairman of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Oleksandr Vilkul for the first time in Ukraine have signed a memorandum on the perspective directions of cooperation in the field of foreign trade, according to the ministry's information policy department.

According to the document, the foreign ministry, using the
capabilities of all the diplomatic establishments of Ukraine abroad,
will facilitate the expansion of national products sales by
Dnipropetrovsk region’s enterprises.

“I am confident that our meeting in Dnipropetrovsk, which is one of
the industrial and intellectual locomotives of Ukraine, will become a
logical continuation of the previously initiated dialogue between the
foreign affairs ministry and the most powerful enterprises and
corporations in Ukraine. It will strengthen our country’s economic
presence abroad and, consequently, improve the well-being of our
citizens,” said Hryschenko.

According to the minister, the council of exporters at the ministry,
which includes 64 heads of Ukraine’s leading companies and industrial
and financial groups, should facilitate this.

“I guarantee partnership and friendship attitude to all the
investors, who will demonstrate willingness to work for the benefit of
not only Dnipropetrovsk region but the whole Ukraine,” the minister
summarized.
