You're reading: Foreign Ministry: Five Ukrainians injured in accident in Belarus return home

Five of the seven Ukrainians hospitalized after a road accident in Belarus have returned home, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov has said.

During a briefing on Tuesday he noted that on Jan. 12, 2012 a road accident happened in Belarus, as a result of which seven Ukrainians were hospitalized.

"As of Jan. 16, two Ukrainian citizens are still being treated, while the other five have returned to Ukraine," Dykusarov said.

He added an investigation into the accident is being conducted.
