You're reading: Foreign Ministry: No reports about Ukrainians hurt in Turkey earthquake

The Ukrainian Embassy in Turkey has not received any information about Ukrainian citizens being injured in the June 10 earthquake on the Turkish coast.

"We continue clearing out details of the earthquake. No Ukrainian citizens have applied to the embassy," Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Oleksandr Dykusarov told Interfax-Ukraine.

So far the Ukrainian diplomatic mission hasn’t received any reports about any injured Ukrainians, the spokesman said.

As reported, a 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Turkey at around 1600 local time on Sunday.
