The agreement between Ukraine and Turkey on the cancellation of visas has taken effect on Wednesday, August 1, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko.

“I would like to recall everyone who for some reason decided to spend
vacation outside Ukraine – the agreement on the cancellation of visas
with Turkey has come into force today. Now there will be no visas and
charges for them and you will be able to spend the spared money on
leisure and souvenirs from Turkey,” the minister wrote on his page in
Twitter on Wednesday.

“We will work further to expand the list of countries to which Ukrainians may travel without visas,” he said.
