Criminal proceedings under the article "forgery" have been launched after the second round of mayoral elections in Kryvy Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region, adviser to the Interior Minister of Ukraine Zorian Shkiriak has said.

“Criminal proceedings have been launched due to the allegations by
representatives of Samopomich under number 12015040230000610 of Part 1
of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (forgery, putting false
information in the official documents by an official, as well as drawing
and issuing false documents). Investigations are being held,” Shkiriak
wrote on his Facebook page.

He also said units of the national police of Ukraine in Kryvy Rih
have been strengthened with additional people and special forces.

Shkiriak said that the Central Election Commission, and in particular
its head Mykhailo Okhendovsky, should be held responsible for the
situation in Kryvy Rih.
