You're reading: More than 40 injured protesters remain in Kyiv hospitals

More than 40 protestors who gathered in central Kyiv were hospitalized between 4 p.m. on Jan. 19 and noon on Jan. 20, the press service of Kyiv City Administration reported on Monday. 

One hundred and four people requested medical attention and 44 of them were hospitalized. Three patients lost their eyes and were operated on, and one patient lost his right hand, it said.

The city clinics have ample equipment to provide the necessary medical aid, clinic directors said.
