Gazprom transgaz Krasnodar LLC has announced a tender to select a land utilization manager to liquidate two facilities of Gazprom – trunk pipelines Taganrog-Amvrosiyivka and Taganrog-Mariupol of 52.4 kilometer and 56.7 kilometer long.

“The Taganrog-Amvrosiyivka I and Taganrog-Mariupol II gas pipelines were removed from service in 1990s. The reason is parallel gas pipelines are enough to transport gas,” the public relation service head at Gazprom transgaz Krasnodar LLC Yevgeniya Slesarenko told Interfax-Ukraine.

“The maintenance of Taganrog-Amvrosiyivka I and Taganrog-Mariupol II gas pipelines, which had over 35 years old and required expensive repair, was declared inappropriate,” she added.
