You're reading: Government cuts funds for building Olympiyska substation in Kyiv by UAH 12.6 million

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has corrected a budget plan for construction of the Kyivska electric substation by laying underground a 110 kilovolt cable from Moskovska substation, cutting the total estimate from UAH 319.427 million to UAH 306.83 million.

The corresponding decision is stipulated in government resolution No. 631 of September 3, 2012.

At the same time, the cost of the building and assembly work was cut from UAH 93.496 million to UAH 90.119 million, while cost of the start-up and adjustment work rose from UAH 2.058 million to UAH 5.31 million.

According to the revised budget plan, the cost of equipment dropped from UAH 163.493 million to UAH 151.523 million.

As reported, in April 2012 Donetsk-based Donbassinformcommunicationservice Ltd. won a tender for design and survey work for the Olympiyska electric substation by laying underground the line from Moskovska substation to Olympiyska substation. The tender that was announced by the Olympiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv.

The value of the corresponding agreement totals UAH 299.874 million.
