Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman emphasized the necessity to unite the efforts of the world community to implement the Minsk agreements.

“Our task today is to unite the effort and continue further implementation [of the Minsk agreements] to secure re-integration, I would like to emphasize, the re-integration of the Ukrainian Donbas, as best as possible,” Groysman said at a joint briefing with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on June 27.

“And I would like to say it before the whole world that the Ukrainian authorities, central authorities, deeply respect the Ukrainian Donbas and its residents, the Ukrainian citizens, which, unfortunately, are now being held captive by the Russian militants. And our main task is to make every effort to secure lasting peace in the continent,” he said.

In turn, Merkel said that Germany will continue to support Ukraine in the ‘Normandy Four’ format (Ukraine, France, Germany and Russia).
