Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has welcomed the entry of the Uber taxi service into the Ukrainian market.
“Dear friends, Uber has started operating in Kyiv today. I’ve tried the application on my mobile phone this morning. Uber is comfort and safety. I am happy to welcome this worldwide scale service in Ukraine,” he wrote on Facebook.
The prime minister added that the company’s entry into the Ukrainian market would revitalize market competition and become a strong indicator of changes in the country for other companies as well as demonstrate that innovative companies can enter the Ukrainian market successfully.
