The condition of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko allows holding investigations into her, a deputy head of a commission of the Ukrainian Health Ministry, Halyna Siroshtan, has said.

"I visited Yulia Volodymyrivna [Tymoshenko] today, examined her, and her health has not deteriorated and is stable," she told reporters in Kharkiv on Wednesday.

Siroshtan noted that the ministry’s commission had proposed that Tymoshenko use the services of specialists in massage and exercise therapy, but the former prime minister had again rejected them.

She also said that Tymoshenko hopes to use the services of her personal massage therapist, but the decision on this will be taken by the leadership of the Kachanivska penal colony, in which the former prime minister is now being held.

The head of the colony, Yuriy Pervushkin, in turn, noted that the masseur had not submitted documents proving his qualifications.
