The trial trip was made to determine the time the train is en route, check the dynamics of the train, and its operation on the track for possible adjustments before regular train services are launched.

The regular high-speed train service on the Kyiv-Dnipropetrovsk route is to be launched from October 1, 2012.

Prydniprovska Railways provides services to Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, Crimea and districts in five other regions. The enterprise includes four departments for railway transportation. Transit work is conducted at 244 stations, of which seven are for passengers, and 67 for freight.
