You're reading: Horlivka separatists seize town council, police department

On Wednesday morning, April 30, pro-Russian activists occupied the building of Horlivka Town Council and the town's central police department, the online publication Ostrov reported citing its own sources.

“Horlivka Town Council has been taken over by armed men in camouflage uniforms. There were around 20 people… The central police department in the town has been seized as well,” the report reads.
