Ukraine's state budget for 2015 should envisage the decentralization of the country's funds, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Volodymyr Hroisman has said.

“We need to draft the state budget for next year on the conditions of decentralization of funds. Most of the funds should remain in the communities on the ground so that these funds could be reinvested in improving the quality of life of the people,” he said at a meeting with the European Business Association in Kyiv on Thursday.

Hroisman noted that decentralization of power was one of the points in a draft coalition agreement.

He called for the open discussion of the draft coalition agreement with businesses and the public.

“The draft coalition agreement contains 13 sections, and there could be more of them after discussions with the public and businesses,” he said.
