Ukraine and Russia have come close to completing the negotiations on the delimitation of the Black Sea, the Azov Sea and the Kerch Strait, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko has said.

"These are longstanding and complicated negotiations. Unfortunately, this is the case when too much publicity could damage the atmosphere of the business dialogue and trust, which we managed to establish in this area over the almost two years. Therefore, I will not go into details. Let me just note that we are really close to completing this protracted process," the minister said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

As reported, Kyiv said it plans to settle the Kerch issue with Russia in 2012.
