Trucks with humanitarian aid from Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv are on their way to Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the Ukrainian government has said.

As the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported, columns of
trucks left at 11 a.m. for the town of Starobilsk in Luhansk region, where
the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will meet them
according to international norms. The ICRC will distribute this aid
among civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk regions who are in territories
controlled by Russian-led insurgents.

The press service also reported that the state budget allocated Hr
10 million for the purchase of basic necessities for Donetsk and Luhansk
citizens.
