The Council of Europe is ready to provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance so as to prevent it becoming internationally isolated, Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland has said.

“The international partners are concerned about the fact that Ukraine may face isolation if it fails to implement democratic reforms. I would like to stop such a tendency by saying that the Action Plan for Ukraine is a very important instrument for support of Ukraine in this aspect,” Jagland said in Kyiv on Monday at a conference entitled “Implementation of the Ukraine-EU Action Plan for 2011-2014.”
