Fire set on territory of the Kharkiv carriage-building works, at 87/89 Kotlov's Street, Ukrainian News has learned from a spokesman for the propaganda centre of the chief directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies and Affairs of Population Protection from the Consequences of the Chornobyl Catastrophe in Kharkiv region.
The chief directorate received the report on the fire at about 9.30am.
Eight fire brigades and several auxiliary special-purpose automobiles were sent to the fire scene.
More then 50 staff are engaged in extinguishing of the fire.
Paper and stationary storehouses on the enterprise’s territory are report to burn.
