Leader of the UDAR Party Vitali Klitschko and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt have met to discuss Ukraine's aspirations for European integration, as well as the country's relations with the United States.
According to UDAR’s press service, Klitschko and Pyatt paid special attention to foreign policy issues, notably Ukraine’s European integration course. The ambassador reaffirmed the United States’ support for Ukraine’s aspiration for European integration and added that the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU during the summit in Vilnius is very important.
In turn, Klitschko said that bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S. is extremely important and briefed the diplomat on the oppositional parties’ efforts aimed at achieving the goals necessary for the signing of the agreement with the EU.
