Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Andriy Kliuyev has described accusations made against him as a planned provocation, and in this connection he intends to come to the Prosecutor General's Office and answer all questions.

“Given the great number of misleading reports that have recently
appeared in the media, as well as the accusations made against me by
certain politicians, I have to respond,” Kliuyev’s press office quoted
him as saying.

Some media have reported that Kliuyev gave the order to clear
protests on Independence Square on Nov. 30, during which Berkut riot
police savagely beat dozens of students.

He also said that on Dec. 16 he would go to the Prosecutor
General’s Office and answer all questions from its representatives.

“I’m confident that an objective investigation will show the
groundless of all of the accusations made against me,” Kliuyev said.
