The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has declared that Kyiv and Odesa had the best residential areas according to their development and the maintenance of the public order among cities of the first category (populations over 500,000 people) in 2011.
According to government order No. 653 of September 10, these cities will be awarded with cups and government certificates of award of the first category.
In turn, Donetsk will get a certificate of award of the second category, while Dnipropetrovsk will be awarded a certificate of award of the third category.
Those cities that achieved the best results in the implementation of programs for their social and economic development over the year will be the winners of the contest.
