As Tymoshenko faces charges for abuse of office in an ongoing trial at Pechersk District Court, Yevhenia Tymoshenko and Sean Carr were ordered by the same court to pay Hr 45.5 costs to Kyiv utility company Khreshchatyk and fill in a tunnel they had created at their Italian restaurant, Ciro’s Pomodoro.

According to Stanislav Tkachenko, a lawyer for the utility company, they had dug a tunnel 3-4 meters long to connect two rooms, which he said was dangerous as it was under the arch.

Tkachenko added that the defendants had already responded to the demands of the utility company and returned the basement to its previous state.
