A judge of a district court in Kyiv was detained on February 4 while taking a $1,000 bribe.
According to the press service of Kyiv office of the Security Service of Ukraine, the judge demanded a bribe from a Kyiv resident in exchange for not passing a prison sentence.
The General Prosecutor’s Office opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 368 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.
The investigation continues.
