In
his words, this decision was produced on August 19 at a joint meeting
of the steering committee of the Cabinet of Ministers and Kyiv
municipal administration.

No
aerobatic maneuvers will be show shown, planes will only fly above the
capital’s main street in small groups, Khaliavinskyi stressed.

As
to the Defense Ministry press service head, on August 21, at 10:48
a.m., aircraft will hold a dress rehearsal overhead Khreschatyk.

In all 35 aircraft units will pass above the city central street and another 14 will be in reserve.

As
Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers on August 19
allowed aircraft to participate in the Independence Day parade.

The
Ministry of Defense has plans to hold a military parade on the
Independence Day. About 3,500 troops of various arms will march along
Khreschatyk.

Combat machinery will not take part in the parade, it will be standing for demonstration.

city but in the end it gave its consent for aircraft to perform in the
parade.
