You're reading: Kyiv, Tbilisi deal to cooperate in healthcare

The Health Ministry of Ukraine and the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia signed an agreement in healthcare and medical sciences in Tbilisi on the results of the eighth sitting of joint Georgian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

Kakha Kaladze conducted the meeting, the press service of Ukraine’s
vice premier reported on Tuesday.

The agreement will favor the establishment of direct contacts between
medical establishments and the organizations of two countries, allowing
them to coordinate policy in the healthcare sector.

Moreover, Ukraine and Georgia signed a memo on mutual understanding
between State Agency for Investment and National Projects Management of
Ukraine, and Georgian National Investment Agency. This memorandum is
aimed at stirring up cooperation between the two countries in investment
activities.
