You're reading: Land plots of Elita Center group to be used to build housing for fraud victims

Kyiv City Council has decided to use six land plots that were previously owned by the Elita-Center real estate group to solve the problems of the victims of fraud perpetrated by the group.

Eighty-seven deputies of Kyiv City Council backed the said decision at a session on Thursday.

The city council ordered the Kyiv City State Administration to take the necessary measures on the use of the said six land plots to provide housing for Elita-Center fraud victims.

In particular, the Kyiv City State Administration is to submit for consideration by Kyiv City Council draft regulations on the termination of lease contracts with the Elita-Center real estate group concerning land plots located at 34-42 Otto Shmidt Street, 7-B Heroyiv Stalingrada Avenue, 17-V Mayakovskoho Avenue, 7-B Kurnatovskoho Street, 15-V Zaporozhtsia Street and 18-A Budivelnykiv Street.

The municipal administration is also to organize investment competitions for these land plots.

The said decision by the municipal council is to be reported to the victims of the Elita-Centre apartment fraud, the Main Investigation Office of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
