You're reading: Large OSCE group begins visit to Ukraine on Sunday

An OSCE group of 35 ambassadors begins a regional trip to Ukraine on Sunday, Oct. 5, Ukraine's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Ihor Prokopchuk has said.

‘This is the largest regional trip. Usually, such events attended by about 20 ambassadors,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Oct. 3.

He said that the ambassadors would hold meetings in Kyiv on Monday and Tuesday and that on Tuesday evening it would leave for Odesa and stay there until the first half of Oct. 1. After that, the group will fly to Vienna.

‘It’s a sign of deep interest on the part of all OSCE participating states in the situation in Ukraine, in possible solutions to addressing this situation, as well as a better understanding of what can be done on the part of the organization to facilitate the settlement,’ Prokopchuk said.
