Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics will make a working visit to Ukraine on Jan. 10, reads a statement posted on the website of the Latvian Foreign Ministry.

“On Jan. 10, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkevics will be on a working visit to Kyiv. The Minister is to meet with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin,” reads the statement.

According to the ministry’s press service, the meeting will address current developments in Ukraine, the course of the implementation of reforms, and bilateral relations between Latvia and Ukraine. Special attention will be devoted to issues of dealing with the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

The visit will also include meetings with the media.
