Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Rybak has said that the law introducing amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the accounting and registration of taxpayers has been submitted to the Ukrainian president for signature.

“The law has currently been submitted to the president for signature,” Rybak said live on Channel 5 late on Oct., 25

The law introducing amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning the accounting and registration of taxpayers, which was approved on Oct., 24, supported the amendment, stating that “if a person has the right for a permanent residence in a foreign country, such a person is considered to be one who does not live in Ukraine.” The UDAR Party described the adoption of this law as a provocation against UDAR faction leader Vitali Klitschko.

Klitschko said on Oct., 24 that he plans to run in Ukraine’s presidential race in 2015.

Deputy Head of the Central Election Commission Andriy Mahera said he did not rule out that the amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine, which were adopted on Oct., 24, could be used to prevent some candidates from participating in the presidential elections through the courts.
