Luhansk - The staff of the Luhansk regional administration were escorted out of the administration building on April 14 afternoon. The evacuation took place without an explanation of its reasons, a correspondent for the www.interfax.by portal reported from the scene. Law enforcement officers remain inside the building. Workers have removed handles from the entrance doors.

Asked what was going inside the building, when the evacuation was
announced, one eyewitness said: “We were told to leave our workplaces
and go home.”

“Senior officials in the Luhansk regional state administration made
the evacuation decision due to a possible storming of the building
scheduled for 2400,” according to the local Eastern Option news portal.

On April 7, anti-Maidan activists took over the building of the
Luhansk regional office of the Security Service of Ukraine, and are
still holding it under their control.
