The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, will hear a report by Ukrainian Education, Science, Youth and Sports Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk on Friday, Sept. 7.
The minister will report on the results of the preparations for the
start of a new academic year in Ukraine, and its beginning, Verkhovna
Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn has said.
“Yes, we’ve taken such a decision,” Lytvyn said on Monday, Sept.3.
He added that the parliament would raise the problem of the lack of pre-school education establishments in Ukraine.
As reported, the Regions Party parliamentary faction proposed to hear
Tabachnyk’s report during the hour of the government in parliament on
Friday.
