Main Audit Department to conduct inventory of land in Kyiv and region

The Main Audit Department intends to conduct an inventory of the land in Kyiv city and the Kyiv region.

The Main Audit Department’s Chairman Petro Andreev announced this at a press conference.

"We are presently setting up a working group to inventory land in Kyiv and the Kyiv region," he said.

He added that he has already spoken with the Kyiv region’s Governor Anatolii Prysiazhniuk about this.

According to Andreev, bureaucrats at all levels will seriously resist this initiative.

As earlier reported, the Kyiv region’s Governor Prysiazhniuk recently said that he intended to investigate the legality of allocation of land plots by district administrations in the region.
