The three defendants charged with the rape and murder of teenager Oksana Makar have been declared sane.
The results of forensic examinations were announced at a meeting of the Central District Court in Mykolaiv on Thursday, according to the regional online newspaper Novosti-n.
In particular, both at the time of the crime and now, all of the defendants were of sound mind. At the time of the crime they were in a state of extreme alcoholic intoxication.
All three defendants, Yevhen Krasnoschok, Artem Pohosian and Maksym Prysiazhniuk, were present at the court session on Thursday.
The sitting of the court will be held on June 19.
