You're reading: NCER increases Ukrenergo’s average tariff by 18%

The National Commission of Ukraine for Energy and Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) has increased Ukrenergo’s average forecast tariff for 2015 by 17.9%, compared to the 2014 tariff, to 2.793 kopecks per kWh (excluding VAT). 

The decision was stipulated in NCER decree No. 886 dated December 18, 2014, the text of which has been posted on the commission’s website.

Ukrenergo’s tariff for the first quarter of this year will amount to 2.086 kopecks per kWh (excluding VAT), for the second quarter – 3.329 kopecks per kWh (excluding VAT), third quarter – 2.797 kopecks per kWh (without VAT), fourth quarter – 3.034 kopecks per kWh (excluding VAT).

Electrical transmission volume through the company’s power grids is expected to be 127.221 billion kWh in 2015, in the first quarter – 33.33 billion kWh, second quarter – 28.388 billion kWh, third quarter – 31.542 billion kWh, fourth quarter – 33.961 billion kWh.

Electricity supplies in 2015 are estimated to be worth Hr 3.553 billion.
