MOSCOW - The Russian Foreign Ministry has confirmed Moscow's position: the future of the Ukrainian military service woman Nadia Savchenko, sentenced by a Russian court to 22 years of imprisonment, can only be discussed after the verdict comes into effect.
“First: the verdict must come into legal force,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on March 31.
“Second: all other possible actions and steps will be undertaken solely and exclusively with the Russian law,” she said.
