WASHINGTON – U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden promised Ukrainian Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk to maintain sanctions against Russia until it fully implements its obligations under the Minsk agreements, the office of the U.S. vice president reported.

“President Obama and Vice President Biden both expressed unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and underscored the U.S. commitment to maintaining sanctions on Russia until it fully implements its obligations under the Minsk agreements,” reads a report posted on the website of the U.S. Embassy to Ukraine.
