The Trilateral Contact Group to settle the crisis in the east of Ukraine on July 31 agreed during Minsk negotiations with representatives of the self-proclaimed republics in Donetsk and Luhansk regions to hold another meeting next week, the OSCE announced on its website on July 31.

“The Contact Group agreed with the representatives of separatist groups that they will hold another meeting next week,” reads the announcement.

Minsk on Thursday hosted a face-to-face meeting of senior representatives of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office with representatives of separatist groups from the eastern regions of Ukraine.

The meeting in Minsk took place at the initiative of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, and on invitation by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
