You're reading: OSCE says sides agreed to remove mines from 5 terrains in contact area in Donbas

Minsk - Representatives of parties at the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk reached an agreement on Dec. 8 on the mine sweeping in five terrains within the area of contact in eastern Ukraine, OSCE special envoy on Ukraine Martin Sajdik revealed following another meeting of the Group, an Interfax correspondent said.

“A deal has been reached on five terrains in the contact zone,” Sajdik said. The number of the terrains is planned to be extended up to 12 by the New Year, he said.
