Oschadbank (Kyiv) plans in 2016 to extend the number of POS terminals in the retain chain by 30%, to about 24,000.

According to a bank press release, in 2015 the amount of Oschadbank terminals in the retail network increased by 4,282, as of the beginning of March 2016 their number reached 18,500.

In March Oschadbank began the acquiring service of WOG CAFÉ in 14 Intercity and Intercity+ trains, setting 54 terminals, through which passengers can pay for food and beverages using payment cards.

Oschadbank terminals accept magnetic or chip MasterCard and Visa payment cards and cards of any banks being part of the National System of Mass Electronic Payments. Every third bank terminal accepts contactless Visa payWave and MasterCard PayPass cards.

Oschadbank provides merchant acquiring services to 10,000 trade and service enterprises, including McDonald’s in Ukraine, Auchan, DHL Express Ukraine, TUI Ukraine, Turkish Airlines.Oschadbank was founded in 1991. Its sole owner is the state.

Oschadbank ranked second among 123 operating banks in the country on October 1, 2015 in terms of total assets (UAH 156.596 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
