You're reading: Over 15,000 criminal cases opened after new Criminal Code came into effect

Over 15,000 criminal violations were entered in the Single State Register of Prejudicial Inquiries from Nov. 20 to Nov. 22 under the new Criminal Procedural Code, according to the press service of Prosecutor General's Office.

Of them, over 13,000 were entered into the register by the law enforcement agencies.

The new Criminal Procedural Code came into force on Nov. 20.
