The parliamentary committee for freedom of speech and information will consider the situation at two Ukrainian channels - Channel 5 and Tvi - on Tuesday.

"The committee intends to discuss this issue tomorrow. A special meeting will be dedicated to Channel 5 and TVi. I would ask you to give us the possibility to consider this matter at a committee’s meeting, so that we could decide in what form we will consider this in the session hall – whether there will be a temporary investigation commission, or [a body of] another form," first deputy head of the committee Andriy Shevchenko said at a meeting of the conciliatory council on Monday.

Shevchenko expressed hope that they would pass an agreed decision on this issue on Tuesday.

Later on Monday, the speaker told journalists that the meeting would take place at 1400 on Tuesday.
