“The State Border Service administration has decided to ease the
border-crossing regulations for the individuals who were injured during a
violent standoff in Kyiv and need treatment abroad,” the agency said in
a press release.

The relevant order has already been obtained by border officers at a
separate Kyiv checkpoint for letting people pass through Boryspil and
Kyiv International Airports, the statement said.

“Under article 8 of the Ukrainian border control law, a fast-tracked
easier procedure will apply to injured individuals, including those
without papers, but on the basis of appropriate lists,” the statement
said.
