Prosecutor's office in Kyiv region after checking a legality of leasing and further repurchase by Tantalit LLC Kyiv and Viktor Yanukovych of the land plots within the limits of Novi Petrivtsi village council, Vyshgorod district of Kyiv region, revealed violations in these deals, and declared the land should be returned to the state.

As the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine
reported on Saturday, these land areas, with a total area of nearly 130

requirements of Articles 142 and 149 of the Land Code of Ukraine.

In particular, the land was sold on the orders of Vyshgorod district
state administration, while the seizure, rental and further sale of such
recreational land can only be authorized by the Cabinet of Ministers.

“On the results of the checks the prosecutor’s office presented two
lawsuits to Vyshgorod district state administration, Tantalit LLC and
Mr. Viktor Yanukovych to cancel the orders, recognizing the state acts
as invalid, and to retrieve lands of an area of 129.28 hectares worth
over Hr 105 million to state ownership,” the report from the PGO
spokesman said.
